Louis XV period, circa 1750/60. Made in various hardwoods and softwoods, with tulipwood and amaranth veneer and rich floral marquetry in various partly dyed fine woods. The table has a three-part top, 2 external drawers, interior compartments with covers, embossed leather lining, gilt chased bronze mounts, and is stamped on the back of the frieze L. MOREAU (Louis Moreau, maître from 1764), ca. 74 x 80 x 44 cm. In professionally restored condition. (MIN)
