he is playing the flute for her, she is embracing and admiring him, Galatea is wearing a headdress with green stones and golden pearls, white dress and shawl with exotic 'Indian' flowers, reeds at the sides, octagonal plinth with wide gold edges, front with relief hunting trophies and hunting dog, sides with foliage tied with bows, on reverse side with quiver of arrows, coat of arms in cartouche and laurel branch, porcelain, colour and gold paint, height 31 cm, foliage and end of shawl slightly chipped, gold edge slightly scuffed on reverse side, Meißen, around 1745, reverse side with model number 472, model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein 1743(Ru)
