both claw feet at the sides on bases of branches, the body is turned forward, the head turned to the left side, looking backwards, the beak is red, orange, black and white, the base of the beak has an orange bulge, the head and neck are naked in bright red-orange, the plumage is grey and white with black wings and a grey collar, porcelain, colour and gold painted, height 70 cm, restored areas, Meißen, blue sword mark on unglazed base, first half of the nineteenth century, former number 8, in archive model number 1768 addendum number noted, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1734 (Ru)
The king vulture (Sarcorhamphus papa) is almost 80 cm in size and is observed in South Mexico to Brazil.
