porcelain, all sides with foliate rocailles heightened in gold, light turquoise and light purple, seven different Watteau couples painted in colour, framed by three-dimensional colourful small and large flower tendrils, the large sconce with reserve, in which colour painted birds in the branches, two floating Amorettes with flower garlands in their hands, at side and as terminal two branches each with vase sockets, height 60 cm, width 64 cm, the smaller sconces with one branch each on side and as finial with candle sockets, height 47 cm, width 55 cm, all branches to be inserted, few flowers and foliage, one minor firing crack restored, Meißen, underglaze blue sword mark, second half of the nineteenth century, model D 157, former number 121, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1770-1772 (Ru)
