The “Prepop” (also “Pre pop”) series was produced only in a small number.

An “Enterprise” recliner (massage bed) from Star Trek,
Paramount Studios, Hollywood 1979, futuristic metal construction, glass frame with integrated neon tubes, upholstery with fabric cover, height c. 84 cm, width c. 237 cm, depth c. 96 cm. (MHA)

This massage bed was part of the original furnishings for the Star Trek series, Hollywood’s most successful science fiction film, produced by Paramount Pictures from 1979. It was used for the first time in “Star Trek: The Film” in a scene with Lieutenant Ilia.
