christian skrein 68, künstler-legenden-fotografien, Christian Brandstätter Verlag p. 17 The artist showed his “TRRR poster” for the last time in the Hundertwasser studio on Graben, in Vienna, on the occasion of the closure of the Pintorarium by the police. TRRR was synonymous with his ‘Blindmalerei’ (blind painting), which he started in 1951. He founded the Pintorarium with Ernst Fuchs and Fritz Hundertwasser in 1959, as an anti-academy and breeding ground for provocation (a “crematory for the incineration of the Academy”).
