I did not want to paint anymore. I believed that, after Duchamp, there was nothing more to be done. Until, leaving home one morning,
I saw a torn poster on the opposite wall on the other side of the street. It was my enlightenment.
I would wander the streets of the city at night, tearing down these
colourful posters which were destined to become works of art.
