A superb stately portrait of Field Marshal Radetzky. Georg Decker was highly regarded as a portrait painter and in high demand in Vienna. His talent as portrait artist was much valued by both the imperial court and the nobility.

Formerly Palais Auersperg Vienna, then on long-term loan to the Museum of Military History (HGM) in Vienna (inv. no. DBI 669).
