“Augustus II the Strong” - monument and homage to the regency,
at its centre a fluted column with medallion and the bust portrait of Frederick Augustus I, Prince-Elector by Saxony, from 1697 King of Poland, two genii on the sides, decorating the monument with flower garlands; on the pedestal, a sword and CONTOBUCH, scales with 2 pans and Hermes staff; at top, a small genius holding a laurel wreath over the regent; on the reverse, medallion with the Saxon-Polish coat of arms; on the base, a distaff, with a spade next to it, a genius lifting up a cloth and discovering a burning heart under it; at top, a genius with a large rose in his right hand, marbled base with red flecks, base with moulded gilt edges, gold rosettes and green laurel festoons with light purple strapwork, height 32 cm, with gold wooden base height 38.5 cm, small restorations, the inside of the base with 2 hairline cracks, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark c. 1850, model no. height 34 cm, red painter no. 44, very rare mould (Ru)
