Central Persia (Iran), c. 322 x 204 cm, second half of the 20th century, the upper front signed “Habibian”, a master workshop famous for its striking Nain quality, with finest soft wool quality and silk parts of the pattern as well as silk contour lines with c. 810,000 kts/sqm, the well-known signature was often wrongly knotted into Nain carpets, “authentic” ones can only be recognised by the excellent wool as in the present example; in superb condition, without noticeable defects.
