Southeast Caucasus, c. 197 x 145 cm, early 19th century, this group is one of the most coveted and rarest Caucasian carpets, this unpublished piece belongs to type A, both finishes with original braided warps, consistently low to bare pile condition with a few repairs and small holes, side edges mostly repaired.
