Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 468 x 340 cm, about 1930, a special feature of good Mashhad carpets is the large woven border on the long sides, the present carpet from the Saber workshop, with its rare, bright green, is one of the most beautiful of its group, with cloth-like feel and more than 1 mill. kts/sqm, this piece is in superb state of preservation, manufactured on silk warp with silk pattern details.
