4 Chinese Silk Embroideries - Oriental Carpets, Textiles and Tapestries

mixed lot, China, each c. 96 x 27 cm, (incl. frame: each c. 110.5 x 45 cm), early 20th century, the different silk embroideries depict female actresses in various outdoor activities with vegetable decoration, on golden silk embroidery ground, the applied stamps are quite common in Chinese works of art and refer to their provenance, but it is difficult to check their authenticity, they are very often stamp forgeries, all panels are completely preserved with original edges, mounted on linen and stretcher.
