Two Chinese Rank Badges, - Oriental Carpets, Textiles and Tapestries

China (Qing Dynasty 1616 to 1911), each c. 29 (40) x 29 (70) cm, 19th century, the rank badges were worn at the front and back of robes, separated at the front by the opening in the middle of the robe, the two pieces belong together, made with silk embroidery and appliqué technique (phoenix birds), very good condition, mounted on linen fabric and stretcher.
