Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 155 x 139 cm, around 1920, under Ali Khan Amoghli and Abdol Mohammad Amoghli this workshop was one of the purveyors to the Persian court during the Pahlavi dynasty, the present rug in rich colours and with a classically wide kilim edge, was made in the early years of this famous manufactory, with high pile throughout in soft wool quality, and signature at the upper front.
