porcelain, the cobalt blue body with gilt painted leaf borders, wide, fine gilt edging, the facing side and reverse side each with 2 reserves, the facing side of neck and baluster with polychrome painted landscapes with young dancers, seated couple and friend, inscribed "Boucher", the reverse side decorated with diverse lake landscapes with bridges and buildings, outlined by gilt leaf rocailles, floral garlands and festoons, and reeds, pine finial, open-work brim, interior, branch handles with acanthus leaves and ram head with rings and tassels, the foot with laurel wreath and octagonal plinth in yellow metal, height: 63,5 cm, the front baluster reserve with small chip, France, blue apocryphal Sévres mark, late 19th cent.
