round form, tiles with very rare high-gloss glaze in gold and brown, 2 smooth plinth zones, surmounted by a section with all-round decoration of mascarons in relief framed by laurel wreaths, in the arcade section sculptural representations of the allegories of “Peace, Music and Visual Arts” a big and a small genius holding a palm of peace in their hands, between them two billing doves, on the side a bust depicting ‘Sculpture’, a small genius holding a coat of arms of the painters (‘Painting’), on a pedestal lie a harp and violin (‘Music’), allegory of “Economy” a big genius handing over a cogwheel, the symbol of ‘Economy’, to a small genius holding a hammer in his right hand and kneeling on an anvil, on the side are tools representing ‘Blacksmithing’, holding compass, scale and triangle in the left, below is a small genius holding plumb bob and shovel in his hands (‘Architecture’), in the background a house, allegory of “Prosperity” a genius carrying a basket with fruits on his head and a cornucopia in his right hand, with a small genius underneath on the corn field, on the side a small genius carrying a laurel wreath high, as a symbol of fame, and a key in his right hand, the facing side of the closing section featuring the enthroned personification of “Austria” wearing a crown and holding a sceptre in her right hand, a boy standing on her side, holding a coats of arms with an Austrian double eagle in his hands, adoring persons and children with diverse coats of arms including Bukovina, Galicia, Dalmatia in their hands, the reverse side with Habsburg coat of arms with the Austrian double eagle flanked by laurel branches, vertical divisions with acanthus leaves and rosettes in relief, stepped dome with vase and cover, flames and pearl frieze on top, opening with fluting, body with sculptural flower border, 2 mascarons merging into fluting and round base, round base with 4 moulded ram’s heads on flower and leaf garlands with strapwork, total height 270 cm, with cover and flame on the vase height 290 cm, first base ring height 30 cm, diameter 70 cm, second base ring height 18 cm, diameter 67 cm, oven diameter 62 cm, cornice diameter 80 cm, very good condition, this unusual tiled stove was an exhibition piece and has never been used.
