An den Dalai Lama; rund einen Monat nach dem Tibetaufstand am 10. März 1959, der sich gegen die Volksrepublik China richtete, unter deren de facto Herrschaft Tibet seit der Invasion 1950 befand. Am 31. März hatte sich der Dalai Lama ins Exil in Indien begeben: "Dear Dalai Lama - since two weeks Tibet is constantly present in my mind just if it would be my own home country. Please let me know if I and my friends can help you and the Tibetian independant People and where we could send gifts. I am austrian Citicen (like Harrer) living in France, I am Painter of strange non-figurativ paintings and a bit Poet too. Be assured that materialist and communists senseless ideology will never and can never conquer Men and Gods like You and your people. Because on Your side is everything. On Your side is Universe and Eternity and Paradise. Because on their evil side are no men nor beasts, but just machine without brain , men who are no men anymore but poor creatures, whose humanity has been extorted and who cannot but act a killing machine Materialists plagues will vanish poisened by their own poison. Tibet will remain for ever".
