East Caucasus, c. 220 x 96 cm, 19th century. The Konakend surface pattern is a system of diverse ornaments connected to each other like a grid. The lattice arabesques, hexagonal rows and zoomorphic motifs are particularly evident in this piece with excellent colours. The combination with a border with crab motifs is rare. With a few professional repairs, slightly trimmed pile, in good condition. (VP)
