1899, dial labelled: Examd by Connell, 83. Cheapside London mechanism: Gustav Becker, mahogany, silver dial, half strike week movement, strike on bell, movement reworked. Height c. 51 cm. Without guarantee for precision of movement and long-term functioning. (MHA)

The clock was shown at the Paris World’s Fair as part of a music salon (on a cabinet) in 1900 and at the First Exhibition of Arts and Crafts in Munich in a study (on a desk) in 1901.
