Number 1 from a production of only about 4 pieces. The Bracciodiferro company originally planned an edition of 100 pieces of this lamp, whose design is based on the Kandem table lamp by Marianne Brandt. However, only about 4 were realised. Enlarged, modified design based on Marianne Brandt’s table lamp. This design was created as part of the ‘Redesigns’ series, in which Mendini modified iconic modernist forms by, among others, Marcel Breuer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Gio Ponti and Michel Thonet.
