Made by Heimsoeth und Rinke oHG, Berlin c. 1940, serial no. A 8242 (numbered on metal label and inside of the machine), makers label “Chiffriermaschinen Gesellschaft / Heimsoeth und Rinke / Berlin W. 35 Ludendorffstraße 6”, UKW (Umkehrwalze) B, three aluminium/bakelite rotors (I, III, and IV) numbered A14440, A14437, and A14441, QWERTZ keyboard, light bulb board („Nur Glühlampen mit 12 mm Durchmesser verwenden.“ / Kabelprüfung / Lampen-prüfung“), ebonite plug board, later wood case. Damages, hinged rotor cover broken. The case when closed height: 15 cm, width 28,5 cm, depth 34 cm, the Enigma height: 13,5 cm, width 25,5 cm, depth 29 cm (WU)
