He worked with Beyer at Schönbrunn, from 1784 to 1807 he was a model master, in 1790 he became a member of the Vienna academy. In 1792 he undertook a trip to Italy, and from 1794 onwards he was in charge of the advanced art classes in painting and history and landscape painting.
PARIS, the beautiful Trojan prince from Greek mythology, son of Priam and Hecuba, who abandons him on Mount Ida, where he later receives Aphrodite, Athena and Hera as a shepherd and decides their dispute, conjured up by Eris, in favour of Aphrodite. The latter goddess fulfills her promise to find him the most beautiful wife by helping him kidnap Helena, which eventually led to the Trojan War.
