porcelain, the body with fine gilt edges, pastose gold painted grapevines on black band, golden chevron border also in the inside rim with leaf festoons on matte gold band, wide golden frieze with bows, leaf festoons and grapes on purple ground merging into the well, the latter with 4 white medallions with scenes from Herculaneum, chariot with Cupid holding the reins of a horse in courbette, chariot with 2 children holding the reins of a trotting horse, chariot with Roman warrior holding the reins of a horse in courbette, chariot with young lady and Cupid prancing, boy and girl running in front of it and holding the reins in their hands, between them 4 chamois-coloured reserves with medallions, golden vases, acanthus tendrils and gold beads on silver ground, both the inside rim and well with white circle borders and pinhead flowers, in the centre a golden rosette framed by golden leaf festoons on copper luster ground, diameter 24 cm, rim with restored segment
