Josef Fischer, died in Vienna in 1843, flower painter, painter no. 131, at the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory from 1802-1843, from 4.8.1834 head painter, in 1821 he lived at Lichtenthal no. 50;
Folnesics-Braun: “He was one of the best flower painters at the manufactory. He was primarily concerned with the execution of polychrome floral decorations on dinner services, but also painted numerous plates and magnificent flower pots and vases.”
