DOMINIQUE SIROP, born in Paris in 1956. At the age of 17 he obtained an apprenticeship in the atelier of Yves Saint Laurent. In 1978, Hubert de Givenchy hired him after seeing his designs. Sirop left in 1989 and worked as a designer for Hanae Mori until he opened his own fashion house in Paris in 1996. In 2000, a partnership with Cartier was formed after Sirop presented his collections in the salons of Cartier.
