beechwood, bent, red-brown stained; back rest insert made of perforated plywood; brown leather cover and upholstery professionally restored after the original; signs of age and use; height 98.5 cm, height of seat 48 cm, width 62 cm, depth 50.5 cm. (MP)

This armchair is a very rare item. The model without armrests was used in the dining room of the Purkersdorf Sanatorium. A group of six chairs covered with textile was exhibited at the 1906 World’s Fair in Milan.
