beige-bodied ceramic with polychrome glazes, partly with gold-coloured decoration; partly scuffed, the “Singhalese woman” with two small holes to the earlobes; company label and stamped P on the reverse, the “Singhalese man” stamped with Reproduction Reservée and incised with 768 and 21 on the inside; the “Singhalese woman” incised with 769 and 9, and stamped with Reproduction Reservée; height of the “Singhalese man”: 46.4 cm; height of the “Singhalese woman”: 43.2 cm.
