Movement: manual winding, gilt and partly engraved lever movement, tourbillon numbered 496, calendar 585, 21 stones
Dial: silver, partly guilloché, retrograde date index, weekday, month, leap year indicator, visible escapement bridge, small second
Accessories: pin buckle gold 750, warranty booklet and instruction manual
Breguet is considered the inventor of the tourbillon. On 16 June 1801, Abraham Louis Breguet was granted the rights to his patent for the so-called ‘tourbillon’ for 10 years. This complication is still regarded as a watchmaking challenge to this day.
