South Caucasus, ca.275 x 205 cm, second half of the 19th century, a large, brightly coloured, single-panel blanket with brocaded coffered pattern manufactured in Zili technique, with diagonal alternating colours, in a strikingly good state of preservation, no signs of wear in the pattern, all sides original, with white pattern wefts made of cotton; warp threads braided at both ends.
