Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), c. 122 x 100 cm, mid-19th century, old small rug of the Yörük mountain nomads from the Bergama region, in the dominant colours indigo and madder red, extremely rare is the protruding pattern in the upper end with amulet character, silky pile wool with preserved weaving finish on both sides, some repairs as well as one larger repair to the lower right corner.
