This drawing was used as a template for the phototype in the book "Die Planeten" (printed by Kunstanstalt Ganymed, Berlin, 1946). The cycle was created in 1935 and was exhibited at the Prussian Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin in October 1935 - see: Paul Raabe. Alfred Kubin, Rowohlt Verlag, Hamburg 1957, p. 164, no. 612
