West Anatolia, c. 167 x 132 cm, 19th century. A prayer rug with ivory niche and two column-like floral stripes. The grey, pointed niche arch is covered with red vines, while both ends of the inner field feature panels with paired S-shapes. In good condition, with a few professional repairs. (VP)
