copper alloy, the yidam and his consort have been gilt, four-headed and twelve-armed, the yidam trampling down Bhairava and Kalaratri in lunge, his main hands wrapped around his consort Vajravarahi, who holds cleaver and skull bowl in her hands, both deities with crown, height 15 cm, removable head of Chakrasamvara , closed lotus base; Provenance: Austrian private collection. The collection was built over several generations. The first items were acquired from 1910 onwards, and the bulk of the collection between 1950 and 1975.
