bronze shaft with three-sided iron blade, the three-headed Hayagriva forming the finial, with three turquoise inlays, the blade emerging from a makara mouth, length 24.5 cm; Austrian private collection. The collection was built over several generations. The first items were acquired from 1910 onwards, and the bulk of the collection between 1950 and 1975.
