The appellation ‘El Primero’ designates one of the most famous movements with chronograph in wristwatches. It was launched in 1969 as the first automatic wristwatch with stop function. The speed regulator is operated with a frequency of 36,000 half oscillations. The present watch shows age-related signs of traces of usage. The original watch strap was produced by the company Gay Frères, which manufactured stainless steel bracelets for many famous watch brands from the 1940s onwards.
