1990, for Edition Artes Magnus, Limoges porcelain, royal blue glaze and photo silkscreen, 24 pieces for six persons, all pieces with manufacturer’s mark Limoges and numbered: ‘H. C. ARTES MAGNUS.’ The set includes 24 plates in total: four sets of six plates with a diameter of c. 20, 22 26 and 30 cm. (MHA)

The form of this service derives from the one designed by the Porcelain Manufactory Royale de Sevres for Madame de Pompadour in 1756. Each piece is hand-moulded and hand-painted, decorated with portrait medallions of Cindy Sherman as Madame de Pompadour, applied in a complex process that includes up to 16 photo silkscreens. The edition is limited to 18 sets each in the colours apple-green, pink, royal blue and yellow.
