PETIT (1730–1798), tulipwood and rosewood veneered hardwood frame on gently curved legs, floral marquetry with partly dyed precious woods, sliding top, and extensible mahogany veneered frieze drawer with gold punched Morocco leather writing surface and folding compartments, the top with matching floral marquetry décor, decorative bronze fittings, c. 73 x 78 x 44 cm, in restored condition.
