The more we explore our minds, the more often we turn our heads toward the Universe. Oskar Zieta does it in a technological dimension, exploring the process of creating ultralight metal objects. Precisely laser-cut thin 2.5D forms are inflated by compressed air into the final 3D form. FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung), a proprietary method of deforming steel, is revolutionary on the planet Earth and has great potential in conquering space. To materialize a universal fascination Oskar Zieta introduced one of his flagship sculpture-like mirrors - Rondo - in a gradient interpretation of the movement of colors - never the same, never constant. Creating an impression of unknown universal truth - lately captured by James Webb the first, the farthest galaxy’s reflections caught in its gigantic lenses. Witnessing the deepest infrared views of the Universe ever seen by humans, scientists interpret the spectral light of elements and on its basis puzzle the Universe. Gradient shades of three Rondo objects are a certain interpretation of Helix Nebula’s performances in different light spectra. As Helix Nebula in pop culture has sometimes been referred to as the “Eye of God” the triptych composition seemed to be the most adequate. Each object represents individuality and unity at the same time. Symbolizing the constant expansion of the Universe here manifested in the volumetric expansion of metal.
