A three-armed sterling silver candelabrum, Hermann Bauer, Schwäbisch-Gmünd, as of 1925, and a two-armed silver candelabrum, Wilkens Company, Bremen, designed in around 1925/30
three-armed silver candelabrum with swinging triangular arms above three low, curved feet; grooved finial in the sconces; insert sconces in rounded triangular shape; one arm below the sconce internally marked: 925, Sterling, maker's mark Hermann Bauer; the upper finish of each arm marked: Austrian import hallmark: dove’s wing hallmark 1W (from 1925); height 22 cm; weight: 278 g; two-arm candelabrum with curved arms on a low base of rectangular shape with rounded corners and moulded edge, the latter marked: Wilkens, German state hallmark, 800 (?, mis-struck), indecipherable hallmark, model number 7973 (?), twice Austrian duty hallmark: 3 W (835-silver, as of 1925), weighed foot, base plate made of metal; height 16 cm; both items with signs of age and use.
