SORMANI (1817 – 1866), modified Louis XV- style, second third of the 19th century, rosewood veneered hardwood frame on cabriole legs, frieze with fine geometrical marquetry décor, elaborate bronze doré fittings, 3 drawers and 3 sham drawer, inset with original red leather writing surface with punched decoration, c. 76 x 136 x 82 cm, in restored condition with traces of usage to the leather writing surface.
