exquisitely formed sculpture of an amorous couple embracing, with a pug dog in front of a trellis arbour with applied flowers on an oval meadow base, the lady in a white dress and hood patterned with flowers and with gilt lace border, the cavalier in a rosé coat over a white vest trimmed with gilt border, in front of them a leaping pug with red collar, porcelain, polychromed and gilt, height 19 cm, width 16 cm, depth 10 cm, designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler 1745, gold decoration of the arbour scuffed, minor restorations and small chips (GO)
