The ”frasi signole” ( single sentences) were created at the same time as the 1979 edition of the Nine Squares. These are presumably sketches, initial studies, color tests (as in the case of our work) or elements of complete sequences - and subsequently dismembered - of the aforementioned edition.
The "single sentences" are therefore unique pieces, registered as such in the Alighiero Boetti Archive.
