in 1929/1930, for Thonet, 1995, free-swinging chromium plated tubular steel construction, upholstered, black seat and back cover with black lacquered wood armrests. The underside marked inter alia in the chair frame with impressed factory mark Thonet and in the underlying fabric with large manufacturer’s imprint. Dimensions of each element: height c. 81 cm, width c. 58 cm, depth c. 62 cm. Slight signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions. (MHA)
