Vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based paper, printed 1971, (NASA AS15-87-11849), with "A KODAK PAPER" watermark on verso (NASA/Kodak), 20,3 x 25,4 cm

This photograph is a superb frame from the panoramic sequence taken at the Apollo 15 lunar research site (ALSEP site). The enormous Mount Hadley rises 4,200m (14,765 feet) above the plain, which is in full Sun. The imprints made by the astronauts during the deployment of the scientific experiments are well-defined in the foreground.
