Felix Michael Wygrzywalskistudied from 1893 to 1898 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, afterwards at the Academie Julian in Paris. A study trip led him to Italy and Egypt. From 1908 on he lived in Lemberg, where he was commissioned by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce with murals. Wygrzyalski also created stage designs, design for glass windows and illustrations for books and magazines. After the First World War he returned to Lemberg, where he frequently participated in exhibitions. He also ran his own art salon there. In 1944 he had to flee from Lemberg because the the Red Army was approaching. He died of a stroke a few months after his flight.
