developed by Boris Hagelin in his company "A. B. Ingeniörsfirma Cryptoteknik" Stockholm, built under license, Philadelphia, USA 1944, serial no. 58460 on the lid metal plate with the inscription "SIGNAL CORPS / CONVERTER M-209-B / 58460: CACH 6919-PHILA.-44"; currentless, mechanical drive with 6 rotors, the text is set letter by letter at the alphabet ring on the left and then the black lever on the right is turned a full turn. Includes original linen case with carrying strap, manual, four message clips, one metal oil bottle and one spare rollerball ink bottle (labeled "O" and "I" on the outer lid), one spare paper roll, one screwdriver, one pair of tweezers. Very good condition. Size c. 13.5 x 18 x 9 cm.
