800 gilt silver; diamond shape with two curved handles on the long sides; partly with openwork decoration with cartouches, arabesque forms and branches of berries; four flaring feet; partly scuffed; the liner made of bevelled glass with etched floral motifs; jardinière slightly scuffed, glass liner with minor chipping, signs of age and use; marked on the underside with crescent, crown, 800, company signet and Joh. Chr. Wich, Nuremberg; height 9.3 cm, length 25.5 cm; silver weight: 188.2 g. (MP)
