„I believed that, having completely exhausted the expressive potential of the plane, which was now overused, I had to work three-dimensionally. Additionally, since I was convinced that the objective of Concrete Art (....) to keep painting on a flat dimension remained an illusion, I wanted to break this illusory perspective, by making it real -in three dimensions, with the use of reliefs.“
