The Viennese banker Markus Leidesdorf von Neuwall (1753-1838) was the owner of the Klobouk estate near Brno and a member of the Moravian Diet. He was elevated to hereditary knighthood in 1824. His son, Samuel August Ritter von Neuwall (1783-1851), continued the banking house and the management of his father’s estate in South Moravia. Samuel’s son Albert (1807-1870) was a member of the Reichstag in 1848/49 and section head in the Ministry of Finance.
